Comparing Leroy and Some of the Top Names in Watchmaking – Part Three

In recent weeks, we have had the pleasure of featuring one of the premiere houses of watchmaking, Leroy and several other notable brands. We spoke a lot about experience and a legacy of excellence in timepiece craftsmanship in our first article in this series, where we featured Laurent Ferrier, Greubel Forsey, and F.P. Journe. A couple of weeks ago, with our second article, Guy Ellia, Breguet, and Patek Philippe offered a more diverse but almost as historic comparison with Leroy.

Urwerk
Blending the rigorous culture of Swiss-German watchmaking and the more traditional culture of Swiss-French watchmaking, URWERK maintains a goal and standard of horological excellence. De Bethune
Several centuries of watchmaking history go into the design for each timepiece from the house of De Bethune. According to the watchmaker, “Like the classic chef d’oeuvres of historical master-watchmakers, De Bethune creations are authentic sculptures in which every component is designed to occupy all three spatial dimensions.” Their innovative creations offer their own perspective and craftsmanship with a flavor that fans of Leroy’s recent collections will certainly appreciate.
