The JZ&F 2012 SIHH Report – Piaget
This year Piaget continues its effort for pushing the boundary of thinness to the extreme – the result is the Altiplano Automatic Skeleton, which holds the record for being the world’s thinnest self-winding skeleton watch (at a mere 5.34mm) with a world’s thinnest automatic skeleton movement (2.4mm)
Although ultra-thin watches do not personally resonate with me, I do applaud Piaget’s admirable and successful effort to push on this frontier.
The Gouveneur line – a versatile dress line (with case size of 43mm). The three models are time-only automatic, chronograph, and tourbillon moonphaes
The All-Black Polo Forty Five (complete with the black-finished movement) – stunning!

A dazzlying diamond high jewelry piece, set with baguette diamonds, with skeletonized dial and micro-rotor on the front – a proper reminder that Piaget is as much as a master jeweler as it is a competent watch manufacture!
