News in Watchmaking: Audemars Piguet Releases Triple-Complication Movement
On JZandF.com, we stock some of the most rare and limited-edition luxury men’s watches in the world. One such brand is Audemars Piguet – they have recently released a beautiful new triple-complication movement watch set in a vintage-inspired case.
The new watches are not available on JZandF.com, but we like to share exciting news in the world of luxury watches. In particular, this innovation from Audemars Piguet brings together three novelty improvements in watchmaking into one timepiece. The Tradition Tourbillon Minute Repeater Chronograph has three complications: a tourbillon, chronograph, and minute repeater. It is installed in a 47-millimeter case with design inspiration from classic early twentieth century timepieces.
The watch features a visible triple-complication movement through the transparent caseback, and is comprised of more than 500 components. Each component is beveled and polished by hand by professional craftsmen in order to prevent any oxidation on the components. Each watch is manually finished on the bridges, mainplate, and cutout parts, including the grained finish on the top and matte “brouillé” finish on the bottom.
While we don’t currently carry these limited edition timepieces on JZandF.com, we may in the future! It is available in rose gold or titanium, with only 10 watches made in each style.
