Swiss Watchmaker Arnold and Son Reveals New Luxury Watch Series

Luxury Swiss watchmaker Arnold and Son – one of the esteemed brands featured here on JZandF.com – recently released their latest variations of the Instrument Collection UTTE series of timepieces.

Arnold & Son has been known for crafting some of the most reputable, inventive, and complicated timepieces in the world – from its early stages under watchmaker John Arnold, until today. The watchmaker is one of only a few contemporary Swiss watchmakers that are allowed to carry the term, ‘manufacture’, which is reserved only for those watchmakers who produce their timepiece movements in-house.

The two new style variations for Arnold and Son’s Instrument Collection UTTE series were announced on the Robb Report. They both feature gorgeous opaline on the dial, with a light gray or silvery white finish. Each luxury timepiece can be purchased in either a palladium or red gold casing. Bluish steel minute and hour hands are set on a subdial above the tourbillon movement, allowing for unobstructed view of the admirable complication.

The series itself was first debuted at the Baselworld watch and jewelry show last year. “UTTE” is an acronym short for Ultra-Thin Tourbillon Escapement. The watches in this series have an incredible flying tourbillon movement, which measures just 2.97 mm in thickness. This design makes the UTTE series from Arnold and Son some of the thinnest tourbillon watches available.

According to the Arnold and Son website, “Every Arnold & Son movement has its own story to tell and reflects the brand’s heritage.“ These new timepieces are no exception.
