Model 6850 CC MC AT Magnum
This is from my personal collection. Similar models would sell for around $60,000, and it is impossible to find it in this beautiful combination. I was truly struck by the beauty of the dial, the very hard-to-do curved dial edges, and the hand-applied guilloche pattern which provides very fascinating interplay with lights at different angles.
This is one of the most interesting pieces that I own, and it definitely showcases the best of Franck Muller’s design, painstaking craftmanship, and his motto as the “Master of Complications.”
The size is full size man’s size at 34mm by 47mm, and 11mm thick. At this size, it will go well with jeans and t-shirt, but can still fit under the cuff at a formal event. It’s a large size for sure, but not ridiculously oversized.
The movement is the prestigious Franck Muller complicated in-house automatic mechanical movement.
The watch weighs over 120 grams. That’s A LOT of gold and it’s very heavy for a watch on strap! (Considering that a Rolex white gold president with white gold BRACELET is only around 120 grams).
The watch is in fantastic, near-mint condition and it was worn only for a handful of times. There are a few minor scuffs from careful normal wear and everything can be easily buffed out with a light polish.
As shown in the above pictures, there is a small hairline “scratch” on the crystal near 11’O clock. The crack is very small and inconspicuous and I’ve just noticed it when looking at the magnified photo. I was completely baffled as the watch was pampered, and was not dropped and was not even remotely abused.
The watch comes with the aftermarket black leather strap in new condition, and the original 18K solid rose gold Franck Muller deployant buckle (a $4000 upgrade). Comes with Franck Muller inner and outer boxes and open Franck Muller papers.
